Job summary

Babcock Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Hunter Class Frigate Program, delivering significant defence capability for Australia. You will oversee multiple teams, manage governance, cost, schedule and risk, and report to senior stakeholders while aligning with program objectives and customer outcomes.

You'll foster a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing complex defence programs.
• Accredited degree in Project Management and AIPM certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Preferred experience in Defence industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple project teams and portfolios of interdependent projects.
• Drive performance, manage cost, schedule, risk and quality.
• Establish governance and manage customer relationships.
• Provide leadership, reporting and strategic direction for the program.
