Job summary

Saab Australia Pty Ltd, Adelaide, seeks a DDG Project Manager to deliver the Hobart Class Air Warfare Destroyer combat system to the Royal Australian Navy. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules and contract deliverables, and support bid and proposal activities in a complex stakeholder environment.

Applicants must have at least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in defence, with strong planning, EVM, governance and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in defence or complex programs.
• Strong planning, scheduling, EVM and governance capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the DDG program through project planning, coordination and reporting.
• Act as or support CAM to monitor schedules, costs and deliverables.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, plans and contract deliverables.
• Contribute to bid and proposal activities with project management expertise.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities; escalate issues as needed.
