Job summary

Babcock Australasia seeks a experienced Workshop Team Lead to head the build activities for the Hunter Class Program. You will coordinate a team of trades personnel, ensuring safe and efficient assembly in line with drawings, specs, and project needs.

You will partner with Engineering, Production, Quality and Project teams to deliver a world-class naval capability for Australia, while driving safety, quality and continuous improvement in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and risk management.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in coordinating build and assembly of Hunter Class systems.
• Mentor and develop a team, while remaining hands-on in delivery.
