Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Hunter Class Frigate Program, directing multiple teams to ensure delivery across cost, schedule, risk and quality. You will work with senior stakeholders and program leadership to shape direction and drive outcomes.

You will bring extensive experience managing large, complex programs, strong governance and commercial acumen, plus a track record in defence or regulated industries. Flexible onsite/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale, complex programs.
• Hold an accredited degree in Project Management.
• AIPM Project Management Certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience in Defence industry.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across multiple project teams or a portfolio of interdependent projects.
• Drive performance and ensure delivery across cost, schedule, risk and quality objectives.
• Establish robust governance and manage customer relationships.
• Oversee financial performance, supplier delivery and project reporting.
