Job summary

CoAct is seeking a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst to shape modern reporting across the organization, with hybrid/remote work options in Australia. You will lead design and development of BI solutions, govern data quality and drive reporting governance while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior data or reporting roles.
• Experience delivering enterprise reporting, analytics or data warehousing solutions using Power BI, Azure and/or Fabric.
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience leading reporting transformation and self-service adoption.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and reporting controls.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating into reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Experience building dashboards and validation activities.
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing in data and reporting environments.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement to gather and prioritise reporting, analytics and BI requirements.
• Facilitate workshops to define business requirements, KPIs, metrics and reporting outcomes.
• Translate business needs into functional specs, user stories and reporting solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across Power BI and Fabric reporting environments.
• Analyse existing reporting solutions and identify consolidation, migration or retirement opportunities.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reports.
• Support natural language query reporting with governed data.
• Use SQL to analyse, validate and reconcile data and support accuracy.
• Maintain reporting governance, data quality standards, controls and documentation.
• Lead report validation, UAT and business acceptance activities.
• Identify risks, data discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing on Power BI, Azure, Fabric.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to deliver valuable reporting outcomes.
