Job summary

Talent International is partnering with a major NSW Government organisation to recruit a Senior Analyst - Data & Performance in Parramatta. The role focuses on data analytics, performance reporting and insights to support service delivery and decision-making.

The successful candidate will extract and analyse complex datasets, develop KPIs and reporting frameworks, ensure data quality and provide evidence-based recommendations to management in a hybrid Parramatta work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analysis, performance reporting or insights
• Demonstrated experience analysing complex datasets and translating findings into meaningful insights
• Experience developing performance measures, KPIs and reporting frameworks
• Strong data mining, profiling and data quality experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate analysis into practical recommendations
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience
• Experience within government, human services, housing or another complex service delivery environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and interpret data from internal and external datasets
• Develop performance reporting and insights to support planning and decision-making
• Undertake data mining, profiling and analysis to identify trends and emerging issues
• Develop and improve performance measures, reporting tools and governance processes
• Identify and address data quality, consistency and usability issues
• Use data and insights to identify opportunities for process and service improvement
• Provide analytical advice and evidence-based recommendations to management
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a complex environment
