Job summary

Talent International is partnering with a major NSW Government organisation to recruit a Senior Analyst - Data & Performance. This role focuses on data analysis, performance reporting and insights, handling complex datasets to identify trends and improve data quality.

The Senior Analyst will develop and refine performance measures, KPIs and reporting frameworks, and will work with stakeholders in a complex government environment to drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analysis, performance reporting or insights.
• Experience analysing complex datasets and translating findings into meaningful insights.
• Experience developing performance measures, KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Data mining, profiling and data quality experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate analysis into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and interpret data from internal and external datasets.
• Develop performance reporting and insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Undertake data mining, profiling and analysis to identify trends and emerging issues.
• Develop and improve performance measures, reporting tools and governance processes.

• Use data and insights to identify opportunities for process and service improvement.
• Provide analytical advice and evidence-based recommendations to management.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a complex environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience developing performance measures, KPIs and reporting frameworks
• Strong data mining, profiling and data quality experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate analysis into practical recommendations
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience

Experience within government, human services, housing or another complex service delivery environment will be highly regarded.
