Job summary

Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) seeks a People Data Analyst to deliver analytics, reporting and insights across NSW workforce data. You’ll handle large datasets, produce meaningful trends and support evidence-based planning with robust dashboards.

The role offers a temporary full-time arrangement (35 hours/week) based in Parramatta with flexible working, and salary relative to experience from $116,981 to $129,491. Applications close 6 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing and reporting on workforce data and HR analytics.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx, Excel, SAP) and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver people analytics, reporting and workforce insights to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards.
• Provide timely data extracts and analysis for emerging business needs.
• Improve data quality, reporting standards and analytics processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights for workforce planning.
• Support statutory and compliance reporting requirements where applicable.
