Saab Australia is seeking a Data Management Team Lead to govern, control and deliver critical information across Defence programs from Adelaide. Lead a high‑performing team, ensuring data integrity, security and compliant information governance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will report to the Configuration Manager, shaping Data Management frameworks and collaborating with project/engineering teams. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Data Management within Defence or other regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading Data Management teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control, records management, information governance and secure data handling.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Data Management professionals.
• Oversee document control, records management, Safe Hand activities, configuration tracking and software release support.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Data Management frameworks, processes and governance.
• Partner with project and engineering teams to ensure compliant management, control and distribution of project information and deliverables.
• Provide subject matter expertise on information governance, security classifications, export controls and confidential information.
• Develop and maintain Data Management plans, processes and work instructions.
• Support business growth through resource planning, service delivery improvements and stakeholder engagement.
• Champion a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
