Job summary

Balance Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst in Sydney. You will move data governance from framework to practice, embedding governance processes, ownership, stewardship and tooling across business and technology teams in a federal government context.

You’ll lead workshops with business and technology stakeholders, embed metadata, glossary, lineage and data quality practices, and support the adoption of governance tooling such as Collibra, Informatica,

Qualifications

• Hands-on data governance implementation in a large organisation.
• Regulated or government sector experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation and workshop delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with business, technology and programme stakeholders.
• Embed metadata, business glossary, lineage and data quality practices.
• Support adoption of governance tooling like Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Alation or Purview.
• Apply governance requirements to migrated datasets and enterprise data platforms.
