Balance Recruitment and Balance Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst for a major Federal Government program in Sydney. The role is hands-on, moving governance from framework to practice, embedding ownership, stewardship and tooling across business and tech teams.

You will run workshops, establish data ownership, and embed metadata, glossary, lineage and data quality practices, working with Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Alation or Microsoft Purview.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data governance implementation in large, complex organisations.
• Able to translate governance frameworks into practical processes.
• Experience with governance across business and technology teams.

Responsabilités

• Implement data governance operating models across business domains.
• Establish data ownership, stewardship and governance processes.
• Lead workshops with business, technology and program stakeholders.
• Embed metadata, business glossary, lineage and data quality practices.
• Support adoption of governance tooling such as Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Alation or Microsoft Purview.
• Apply governance requirements to migrated datasets and enterprise data platforms.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, organisational change and adoption.
