Job summary

Correlate Resources Pty in Sydney seeks a Senior Data Governance Specialist to operationalise and embed governance frameworks across a large finance data landscape. You will govern metadata, enable data quality controls and drive adoption with data owners and stewards.

This long-term contract role offers hybrid in-office engagement across 4–5 days/week, with a strong emphasis on practical processes and governance capability development within data domains and data products.

Qualifications

• Extensive data governance experience in a large organisation.
• Experience operationalising and embedding governance frameworks.
• Deep hands-on Collibra experience with metadata management.
• Strong knowledge of data quality principles and issue management.
• Ability to work with data owners, stewards and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Operationalise and embed data governance frameworks and processes.
• Establish and support data governance guilds and stakeholder forums.
• Populate and maintain business metadata for key data assets using Collibra.
• Ensure relevant technical metadata is captured and maintained.
• Support data quality controls and governance processes across data assets.
• Enable data issue management and change management across analytics assets.
• Collaborate with data owners and technical teams to drive governance adoption.
• Support governance capability development across data domains and product roadmaps.
