Job summary

Billigence in Australia is seeking Senior / Lead Data Engineers to join our Data Cloud Practice. This role suits individuals who are passionate about hands-on data engineering delivery and client-facing consulting, with the ability to step into leadership responsibilities.

You will work with leading global organisations across industries such as banking & finance, insurance, government, telco, media, and FMCG.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience across data engineering, cloud computing or data warehousing.
Strong technical expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift or Microsoft Fabric.
Strong background in data modelling, ETL processes and SQL.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a consulting mindset.
Ability to step into a lead role, even without prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver cloud-based data engineering solutions for blue-chip clients.
Provide technical direction, thought leadership and best practices in data engineering.
Work with stakeholders in pre-sales, requirements gathering and solution design.
Mentor and support team members, with potential to grow into a leadership role.
Drive delivery excellence across industries and client engagements.
