You will build and optimise a high-performing analytics layer within a cloud-based data environment, collaborating with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, consumption-ready datasets for reporting and insights.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Advanced SQL with extensive BigQuery experience.
• Hands-on Apache Airflow experience.
• GCP experience and data warehousing know-how.
• Experience supporting analytics, reporting and dashboards.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Analytics engineering in enterprise-scale data environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines within a GCP environment.
• Build and maintain analytics-ready datasets and data models.
• Improve data performance, quality and accessibility across the platform.
• Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Develop scalable solutions that support dashboarding and self-service analytics.
• Contribute to best practices across data engineering and platform development.
• Support knowledge transfer and handover activities where required.
