Anglicare Sydney seeks a Senior Data Engineer to shape enterprise data and ML platforms on Azure and Databricks. You’ll design and deploy scalable pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and architects, and drive DevSecOps practices across the data estate.

You will mentor teams, enforce governance and security standards, and partner with stakeholders to deliver high-impact analytics initiatives that support Anglicare’s mission.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong expertise across Azure, Databricks and Spark.
• Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD.
• Terraform, Bicep and IaC practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance and architecture.
• Experience supporting analytics, ML and AI workloads.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and operationalisation of data and ML platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Solution Architects and stakeholders.
• Deliver cloud-native solutions aligned to Anglicare’s data/AI strategy.
• Mentor teams and promote best practices across cloud, data and AI.
• Establish governance, data quality and metadata standards.
• Ensure secure, scalable and cost-efficient architectures.
