Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Senior Project/Construction Manager for a major data centre project in New South Wales, Australia. This FIFO/DIDO role offers location flexibility while placing you at the heart of a high-value delivery.

As the client’s senior representative, you’ll lead on-site oversight, challenge performance, manage interfaces, and ensure schedules, quality and risk controls are rigorously maintained for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years total experience in project and construction management.
• 8+ years delivering data centre projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; postgraduate qualification in Project Management highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly and bi-weekly site visits and chair developer roundtables.
• Ensure programme delivery to the client’s required standard, timeline and quality.
• Identify risks early, pursue acceleration, protect the critical path and surface blockers.
• Produce site reports, roundtable minutes, action logs and progress updates for the client.
