Middy’s Electrical is seeking a Senior Counter Sales person to join our team. This customer-facing role focuses on sales, quotations, and delivering outstanding service while leveraging strong electrical product knowledge to assist customers.

You will identify sales opportunities, develop relationships, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The role supports growth in our national network with a commitment to quality and customer success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, preferably within electrical wholesale or a similar industry.
• Strong quotation preparation and follow-up skills.
• Sound product knowledge, ideally within electrical products and solutions.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
• Competent PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Counter sales and proactive customer development.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.
• Providing product advice and technical support to customers.
• Following up and providing notification of outstanding orders.
• Maintaining a professional store presentation.
• Assisting with receipt and dispatch of products.
• Picking, packing and delivering customer orders.
• Stock management including purchasing and inventory control.
• Complying with company and customer QHSE standards and policies.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
