Job summary

Middy’s Electrical is seeking an experienced Counter Sales professional on the Gold Coast to provide outstanding service, process transactions, and support day-to-day branch operations.

You will work with a friendly, team‑oriented crew and contribute to branch sales targets while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical wholesale.
• Previous Point of Sale experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver's licence.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A willingness to follow instructions while showing initiative.
• A forklift licence is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries and requirements.
• Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales and gross profit targets.
• Support in-branch promotions, displays and identify opportunities for add-on sales.
• Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
• Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.

The Role
