Middendorp Electric Group of Companies – Moorabbin VIC is seeking a Counter Sales professional to join our branch team. You will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately and support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced electrical wholesale environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of electrical wholesale experience, be proficient with POS, possess strong communication skills and a valid driver’s licence; forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries and requirements.
• Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales and gross profit targets.
• Support in-branch promotions, displays and identify opportunities for add-on sales.
• Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
• Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
• Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.

The Role

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Previous Point of Sale experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver's licence.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A willingness to follow instructions while showing initiative.

A valid forklift licence will be highly regarded.
