Job summary

Middy’s is seeking an experienced Counter Sales professional to join our branch team in Australia. In this role you will provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and support day-to-day branch operations.

The position offers a full-time, permanent role within a growing nationwide business. You will deliver friendly service, handle product enquiries, assist promotions, quotes and stock presentation while maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Previous Point of Sale experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver's licence.
• The forklift licence will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries and requirements.
• Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales.
• Support in-branch promotions and displays and identify add-on sales opportunities.
• Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
• Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
• Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
