Ansvar Australia, part of the Benefact Group, seeks a Corporate Account Director to oversee complex corporate client portfolios from Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. The role blends high-level underwriting expertise with strategic account management, broker engagement and tailored solutions for large risks.

You will lead growth initiatives, manage relationships with brokers and clients, and collaborate with product teams to shape underwriting strategy in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a technical underwriting or senior corporate broking role.
• Strong account management experience across full lifecycle, from opportunity assessment to renewal.
• Proven track record delivering profitable growth in corporate risks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of complex Corporate Client accounts, delivering profitable growth and sound risk outcomes.
• Develop and implement new business and renewal strategies to achieve portfolio performance, retention and growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers and internal stakeholders to enhance service delivery and business development opportunities.
• Provide expert underwriting guidance and support for complex referrals, ensuring decisions align with underwriting frameworks, risk appetite and governance requirements.
• Partner with Product and Underwriting leadership to facilitate timely and effective assessment of Group underwriting referrals and contribute to underwriting strategy and product development initiatives.
