Job summary

Talent Butler Pty Limited in Sydney seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to join its leadership team, overseeing major Class 2 residential and mixed-use developments. You will own commercial and contractual performance, ensuring profitable delivery and compliant administration.

You will lead a Contracts Administration team, work with the General Manager and senior stakeholders, and shape procurement, cost control, forecasts and final accounts across a growing project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contracts Administration or Contracts Management within the Australian construction industry.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to manage complex contractual matters.
• Knowledge of procurement, cost management, forecasting and subcontractor administration.
• Experience managing commercial responsibilities on substantial construction projects.
• Ability to lead teams and work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing contractual and financial performance across major construction projects.
• Overseeing procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.
• Managing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Administering head contracts, variations, claims, extensions of time and final accounts.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading and mentoring the Contracts Administration team.
• Working closely with senior management to improve commercial performance and profitability.
