Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual delivery of a landmark construction project in Sydney. You will oversee head contract and subcontract administration, procurement, and risk management on a $200M+ development.

Working closely with senior project leadership, you will drive commercial performance, manage variations, claims, and extensions of time, and shape commercial strategy across procurement and stakeholder engagement throughout

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Administrator or similar role.
• Experience on major building projects, ideally $100M+ value.
• Strong knowledge of head contracts and subcontract administration.
• Proven procurement, negotiations and subcontractor management experience.

Lead the commercial delivery of a landmark construction project.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established, high-end developer-builder, overseeing the commercial and contractual delivery of a major construction project valued at $200M+.

Working closely with senior project leadership, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk and overseeing procurement and subcontractor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

This opportunity would suit an established Contracts Manager or a Senior Contracts Administrator ready to take the next step into a broader commercial leadership role, offering exposure to a complex, high-profile project and a strong pipeline of future work.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of key commercial and contractual functions, working collaboratively with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered with strong commercial discipline and effective risk management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Administrator or in a similar commercial construction role.
• Experience working on major building projects, ideally valued at $100M+.
• Strong knowledge of head contract and subcontract administration.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement, commercial negotiations and subcontractor management.
• A sound understanding of Australian Standard forms of contract.
• Strong financial acumen, risk management and commercial decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline.
