Job summary

Gamuda Group is seeking a seasoned Commercial/Contracts professional to join the project commercial team in Australia. You will oversee subcontractor packages, procurement and contractual correspondence, ensuring variations, claims and EOTs are managed effectively throughout the lifecycle.

You will monitor costs and financial performance, identify risks, and provide commercial reporting to project leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
7+ years' experience in contract administration or commercial management within construction.
Experience on major road, highways or civil infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of Australian construction contracts and procurement.

Responsibilities

Manage subcontract package administration, including correspondence, payment claims, variations, EOT, notices and claims.
Support procurement, tendering and negotiation of subcontractor packages across civil/roadworks.
Review claims, variations and documentation for contractual compliance.
Monitor costs, forecasts and financial performance with accurate reporting to leadership.
Identify and manage commercial risks and proactively address issues.
Assist with preparation and assessment of commercial submissions, claims and notices.
Collaborate with engineers, construction teams and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues.
