Job summary

Gamuda Australia is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement strategy for the EDMR road upgrade in Western Sydney. You will work with project leadership, Commercial, Engineering and Construction teams, and key suppliers to source materials, services and subcontract packages.

You will drive end-to-end procurement activities, manage schedules and budgets, negotiate favourable terms, and mentor the project procurement team to deliver value and compliance across the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement management within infrastructure or major projects.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract management and commercial principles.
• Experience leading tendering, sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project procurement strategies aligned with scope and budget.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing and award.
• Manage procurement schedules to align with milestones.
• Lead market engagement, tenders and negotiations.
• Build and monitor project supply chains with key suppliers.
• Identify opportunities and mitigate procurement risks.
• Mentor and develop the project procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policies and legislation.
• Support local content and sustainability objectives.
