Job summary

McConnell Dowell Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on the Yan Yean Road Upgrade in Victoria. You will take ownership of subcontract packages, manage contractual risks and contribute to successful project outcomes, working closely with commercial and project leadership.

The role demands sound commercial judgement, initiative and the ability to build strong relationships within a collaborative delivery-focused team.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in construction or infrastructure contract administration.
• Experience managing subcontractor claims, variations and procurement.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to resolve contractual issues.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or substantial industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations, variations, claims and close-out.
• Monitor project costs, financial reporting, risks and commercial opportunities.
• Ensure head contract and subcontract obligations are understood and managed.
• Support and mentor other contract administration personnel.
• Work with project and commercial leaders to drive commercial outcomes.
