Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd invites an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join a major rail infrastructure program at Ormeau. You will oversee complex commercial packages, align procurement with contract administration, and support cost forecasting across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a degree in quantity surveying or related field and at least seven years in commercial roles within large organisations.

Qualifications

• Degree in quantity surveying, construction management or comparable tertiary discipline.
• Seven+ years in commercial roles within a large organisation, preferably construction or major infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of construction law and contractual mechanisms.
• Experience in procurement, subcontract administration, claims, variations, cost control and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender submissions, negotiate commercial terms and prepare award recommendations.
• Administer subcontract correspondence, notices, payment schedules, progress claims and final accounts.
• Maintain head-contract registers and prepare upstream correspondence, claims and variations.
• Review cash flow, cost-to-complete and forecasts to explain project commercial performance.
• Maintain evidence for change management and claims, identifying risks and helping prevent disputes.
• Provide clear commercial advice to clients, suppliers, subcontractors and delivery teams.
