Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a site-based Commercial/Quantity Surveying professional to support the delivery of a substantial renewable energy project in North Queensland, with a 14-days-on, seven-days-off FIFO roster from Brisbane. You will work with the Commercial and Contracts Managers from award through to completion.

The role involves administration of variations, procurement support, and maintaining rigorous commercial records to ensure project success across transport,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management or a related discipline.
• Experience in contract administration, quantity surveying or commercial work within civil construction, infrastructure or renewables.
• Understanding of procurement, subcontract administration and contract management.
• Accurate record keeping and the ability to manage competing commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contractual records.
• Support procurement, tender assessments and subcontract documentation.
• Maintain commercial registers, cost controls and accurate project records.
• Prepare notices, contractual correspondence and commercial reports.
• Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and the delivery team to resolve commercial matters.

The Opportunity

Support the commercial delivery of a substantial renewable energy project in North Queensland. This is a site-based role for Townsville-region candidates or applicants seeking FIFO from Brisbane on a 14-days-on, seven-days-off roster.
