Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a civil engineer to build your experience on a major rail manufacturing infrastructure programme in Ormeau. You will work with engineers and supervisors to coordinate site activities, solve construction issues and maintain reliable project records.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering and at least two years in construction, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering with eligibility for Engineers Australia.
• Typically at least two years in construction or infrastructure.
• Experience supporting engineering scopes or construction work packages.
• Understanding of construction methods, contracts and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications and help prepare work methods and plans.
• Coordinate assigned civil work areas against safety, quality, cost and programme requirements.
• Track site progress, productivity and resources and prepare accurate reporting.
• Assist with procurement, quantities, cost tracking and supplier or subcontract administration.
• Support inspections, ITPs, RFIs, lot records, defects and non-conformance close-out.
• Work with supervisors and stakeholders to resolve practical delivery problems.
