Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty in Perth, WA, is seeking a senior commercial professional to support our Western Australian infrastructure operations. You will work with commercial leadership to manage contracts from procurement and negotiation to completion, while guiding contract administrators.

You will apply your seven-plus years in large organisations, strong knowledge of construction law and risk, and lead improvements in transactional processes and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is required.
• Seven+ years in a commercial role within a large organisation.
• Solid knowledge of construction law, turnkey contracts and commercial risk.
• Proficiency with business systems and improving transactional processes.
• Strong written communication, negotiation, initiative and collaborative leadership.
• Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate head contracts and subcontracts; manage notices, variations and payment claims.
• Track contractual milestones and maintain reliable commercial records.
• Coordinate procurement registers, supplier awards, cash flow and cost controls.
• Identify construction risks and support dispute avoidance.
• Collaborate with legal advisers and operational stakeholders on complex matters.
• Mentor contract administrators and improve commercial processes.

The Opportunity

Your Responsibilities
