Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator for a North West Sydney project. You will lead the commercial team, manage head and subcontractor contracts, and oversee procurement and cost control on a $100M education project.

The role requires strong contract management experience on major building developments, with a focus on teamwork, integrity and reliable delivery. On-site work in Sydney with flexible working arrangements where available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CA or Senior CA working for a head contractor.
• Proven track record in project-based contract and financial administration on major building developments.
• Skilled in contract management and resolving complex contractual issues independently.
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client and Project Team to ensure project success.
• Mentor and coach the Commercial Team to foster growth and excellence.
• Develop and implement the project procurement strategy.
• Manage project cost management, including Head & Subcontract Variation management.
• Handle Head Contract and Subcontractor Progress claim management.
• Maintain cash flow oversight for Head and Subcontract agreements.
• Prepare and present Monthly Financial reports.

With a recently awarded project, they are hiring an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to lead a dynamic team. You will be the commercial lead delivering a $100M Education project in the Eastern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Client and Project Team to ensure project success.
• Mentor and coach our Commercial Team to foster growth and excellence.
• Develop and implement the project procurement strategy.
• Manage project cost management, including Head & Subcontract Variation management.
• Handle Head Contract and Subcontractor Progress claim management.
• Maintain cash flow oversight for both Head and Subcontract agreements.
• Prepare and present comprehensive Monthly Financial reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CA or Senior CA working for a head contractor
• Demonstrated success in project-based contract and financial administration within major building developments.
• Proficient in contract management with a proven ability to resolve complex contractual issues independently.
