Job summary

IDC Construct in Bundaberg is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to run the commercial side of large projects. You will manage cost reporting, subcontracts, progress claims and variations, reporting to the Project Manager and supporting the Commercial Manager with systems and templates.

Projects range from $5M to $40M, with potential ownership of one major project or two mid-size jobs. A strong background in commercial construction and reading plans is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in contract administration in commercial construction.
• Head contract administration on projects of $10M+.
• Understanding of variations and progress payments.
• Able to read plans and specs.
• Experience with BIF Act is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cost reports for each project.
• Manage subcontracts, scopes of works and procurement.
• Administer head contracts, notices, and progress claims.
• Maintain document control and RFI administration.
• Prepare final accounts at project end.
