Job summary

TasNetworks is seeking a Contract Manager – Distribution and Transmission based in Cambridge to lead the contractor-delivered program across Tasmania. You will oversee governance, safety, and performance for a ~$40 million annual portfolio, guiding the transition to a Delivery Partner model while ensuring continuity and high-quality delivery.

As a senior leader, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, influence partners, and optimise contracts, pricing, and variations.

Qualifications

• Senior experience managing a portfolio of complex service, works or delivery-partner contracts in electricity, utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong project and portfolio management capability with distribution and transmission construction knowledge.
• Ability to translate investment plans into safe, practical, commercially sound outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of contractor-delivered Distribution and Transmission program with safety, quality and cost focus.
• Establish and mature contractor delivery operating model including governance and transition to Delivery Partner framework.
• Manage portfolio performance, budgets, pricing, variations, claims and contractual obligations.
• Drive contractor performance and risk management through governance and negotiations.
