Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading Sydney construction business to hire a Senior Contract Administrator for a major residential/mixed-use development on the Lower North Shore. You will own major subcontractor packages, lead procurement, manage variations and forecasts, and support the Project Manager to drive commercial performance on site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ Contract Administration experience within the construction industry.
• Experience on large-scale high-rise or mixed-use projects.
• Jobpac experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract administration.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Own major subcontractor and supplier packages.
• Lead procurement, tender analysis, negotiations and awards.
• Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
• Manage variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contract correspondence.
• Prepare detailed monthly cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Monitor project expenditure against budget and identify commercial risks.
• Manage contractual obligations and maintain project records.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on overall project commercial performance.
• Mentor junior Contract Administrators where required.
• Manage final accounts and commercial close-out of packages.
• Utilise Jobpac for project cost management, reporting and contract administration.
