Job summary

Ferrycarrig Construction in Sydney is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our growing team on major infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for commercial handovers, budgeting, and ensuring cost control from award through project delivery.

You will liaise with project managers and clients to coordinate commercial activity, run regular meetings, and maintain strong subcontractor relations.

Qualifications

• Requires eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and commercial control would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects by completing commercial handovers with estimating and construction teams at award.
• Ensure budgets are entered and managed from the start to support cost planning.
• Monitor monthly reports, procurement budgets and variation registers for the project team.
• Liaise with Project Managers to align commercial and project activities, including regular client meetings.
• Maintain strong relations with clients and stakeholders across projects.
• Review compliance to programme and EOTs and ensure timely issuance.
• Manage subcontractor contracts and payments and update the contract records.
• Oversee performance issues related to quality and safety of subcontractors.
• Create and manage payment schedules and drive actions to close out per contract.
