Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join a major Building Project in Sydney, reporting to the Project Commercial Manager. You'll handle payment claims, SOPA compliance, procurement, cashflow, variations, and month-end reporting.

The role requires proven experience on large-scale commercial projects and a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/finance/law/engineering, with strong stakeholder collaboration across engineering and construction

Qualifications

• Proven experience on large scale commercial building projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/finance/law/engineering or related disciplines.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across engineering, consulting, and construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all payment claims and invoices are assessed and processed in accordance with the Contract.
• Ensure compliance with the Securities of Payments Act (SOPA).
• Manage the procurement of Subcontractors, suppliers as well as overseeing key financial activities including cashflow, profit optimisation, variations, reporting and general administration.
• Effectively manage subcontract variations and contractual claims as required.
• Assist in month end project reporting and ensure deadlines are being met.
• Assist with Head Contract / Upstream administration.
