Job summary

Randstad's client, a respected national Tier 2 builder, is expanding into Queensland and seeks a Senior Contract Administrator to join the brand-new delivery team. You will oversee procurement, subcontract administration, variations, and financial reporting to ensure strong commercial outcomes across major projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian commercial construction sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong financial reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Procurement, tendering, and management of subcontract packages through to final account.
• Administration of subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
• Assessment and management of subcontractor claims and payment schedules.
• Cost tracking, forecasting, budget management, and monthly financial reporting.
• Assisting with head contract administration and commercial risk management.
• Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
