Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor/Estimator to join a Queensland Government team in Rockhampton. The role combines estimating, project coordination, contractor supervision, and site inspections to support delivery across the region.

You will ensure WHS compliance, prepare tender documentation, develop construction programs, and coordinate offices and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in building projects and tenders.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Current driver's licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender and quotation documentation for building projects.
• Develop estimates, quotations, material schedules, trade packages, and construction programs.
• Supervise and support the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade works.
• Coordinate office staff, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct building condition assessments and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and policies.
