Crown Perth is looking for an experienced Operations Manager for Conferences & Events to lead a large, complex operation delivering a diverse calendar of events. • Significant management experience within conferences, events, banqueting or large-scale hospitality operations.
• A strong people leader with demonstrated experience building capability, developing talent and creating high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to balance guest experience, revenue opportunities, costs and operational outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of conferences, banquets and events, ensuring exceptional service and execution.
• Partner with sales, kitchens and key stakeholders to develop bespoke, commercially sustainable event solutions.
• Contribute operational expertise to client proposals, tenders, tastings and event planning, helping turn opportunities into successful experiences.
• Lead and develop a large and complex team, building leadership capability, developing talent and strengthening succession planning.
• Drive commercial performance through effective budgeting, labour management and decision-making, balancing event objectives with profitability and delivery standards.
