Crown Perth is seeking an Operations Manager – Conferences & Events to lead a large, complex operation delivering a dynamic calendar of events. You will connect event operations with sales, kitchens and stakeholders to provide bespoke client solutions within an integrated resort environment.

The role demands significant people leadership, strong commercial sense and a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences while driving profitability and efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

• Significant management experience within conferences, events, banqueting or large-scale hospitality operations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with profitability focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Client-focused and solutions-driven mindset.

Responsabilités

• Lead the operational delivery of conferences, banquets and events, ensuring exceptional service and execution.
• Partner with sales, kitchens and key stakeholders to develop bespoke, commercially sustainable event solutions.
• Contribute operational expertise to client proposals, tenders, tastings and event planning, helping turn opportunities into successful experiences.
• Lead and develop a large and complex team, building leadership capability, developing talent and strengthening succession planning.
• Drive commercial performance through budgeting, labour management and decision-making, balancing event objectives with profitability and delivery standards.
• Champion continuous improvement by challenging established ways of working, capturing client feedback and identifying opportunities to deliver a best-in-class events experience.
