Job summary

Talent Quarter is seeking a Community Home Care Manager to lead the establishment, development and growth of community-based aged care services in the Canberra region. You will blend strategic leadership, business development and operational management to ensure services support older people to live independently and maintain quality of life.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee service development, regulatory compliance and business growth to ensure services are safe, high quality

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in aged care, health, or community services.
• Experience establishing, developing or transforming services.
• Strong commercial, financial and strategic planning skills.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Support at Home or government-funded services is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and implementation of Support at Home and community services.
• Develop business plans, budgets, financial forecasts and growth strategies.
• Establish governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, systems and operational readiness.
• Build relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion, partnerships and business growth.
• Drive continuous improvement, service quality and positive consumer outcomes.
