Job summary

EBM Insurance & Risk is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join the CoverLink division in Australia. You will underwrite new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations under delegated authority and work closely with brokers and insurer partners to deliver sound outcomes and portfolio growth.

The role requires strong underwriting expertise, client focus, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Solid level of commercial underwriting experience within the insurance market.
• Strong technical underwriting capability and understanding of commercial insurance products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations within delegated authorities.
• Manage and develop a profitable portfolio of commercial insurance business.
• Assess risks and apply sound underwriting judgement.
