CFC is seeking a Senior Underwriter to lead our Sydney Financial Lines team and grow the portfolio with a focus on renewals, new business, and high-quality broker service.

You will monitor performance, ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and legislation, and actively participate in market engagement to drive profitable growth. The role requires leadership of a small team and a proactive, relationship-driven approach.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience as a Financial Lines underwriter.
• Strong understanding of the Australian insurance market.
• Commitment to following, applying and interpreting underwriting guidelines.
• Strong commercial acumen and a focus on profitability.

Are you a motivated and relationship-driven insurance professional looking to take the next step in your Underwriting Career? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Senior Underwriter to lead our Sydney Financial Lines team and support our growing Financial Lines portfolio.

About the role:

You will play a key role in managing and growing a Financial Lines portfolio by handling renewals, assessing and converting new business opportunities, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to brokers. You'll monitor portfolio performance, ensure compliance with underwriting and legislative requirements, stay across industry developments, and actively participate in market engagement and networking activities.
