Job summary

Jetstar Airways is seeking a Senior Commercial Specialist, Ground Experience, Melbourne to drive revenue growth and customer engagement across Ground Experience products including car hire, airport transfers, parking, rideshare and more. You will deliver performance reporting, coordinate campaigns, and collaborate with Digital Marketing, CRM and partner teams.

You will support the car hire strategy, conduct RFP processes, and help take new Ground Experience categories from testing to scale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance reporting across Ground Experience products, partners, brands and markets.
• Monitor key performance drivers including attach rate, conversion, commission and margin.
• Analyze customer behaviour, product performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute Ground Experience campaigns with Digital Marketing and CRM teams.
• Review campaign performance and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate car hire strategy development, business cases and related papers; manage car hire RFP processes.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Ground Experience partners and suppliers.
• Prepare partner performance packs and support renewals and negotiations.
• Manage invoicing and revenue reconciliation across Ground Experience revenue streams.
• Support new product testing, partner integrations and product enhancements.

We're looking for a Senior Commercial Specialist, Ground Experience to support revenue growth and customer engagement across Jetstar's Ground Experience portfolio, including car hire, airport transfers, parking, rideshare and other emerging products.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, Ground Experience, you'll deliver performance reporting and commercial insights, coordinate marketing campaigns, and work closely with internal teams and external partners. You'll also support the Commercial Manager with the development and execution of the car hire strategy and RFP processes, while helping bring new Ground Experience categories from testing through to launch and scale.

The core responsibilities of this role are:

• Deliver monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance reporting across products, partners, brands and markets
• Monitor key performance drivers, including attach rate, conversion, average commission and margin
• Analyse customer behaviour, product performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities
• Develop and execute Ground Experience campaigns with Digital Marketing and CRM teams
• Review campaign performance and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Support the development of the car hire strategy, business cases and associated papers
• Coordinate activities across car hire RFP processes, including requirements, submissions and evaluation materials
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Ground Experience partners and suppliers
• Prepare partner performance packs and support reviews, renewals and negotiations
• Manage invoicing and revenue reconciliation across Ground Experience revenue streams
• Support new product testing, partner integrations and product enhancements
• Conduct user acceptance testing for new technology functionality and system upgrades

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with exposure to insights and market data
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience in campaign management and digital marketing
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to hold partners accountable to agreed commitments
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively under pressure
• Comfort working with incomplete information in a new or growing product area
• The ability to prepare clear, well-structured analysis and papers that support strategy and tender processes

Previous experience in the airline or travel industry would be advantageous, along with exposure to Power BI, Adobe or similar reporting platforms. Experience in supplier or partner performance management and tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or marketing would also be highly regarded.
