Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Manager Commercial for a 10-month fixed-term opportunity in Sydney, NSW. The role leads commercial and risk performance on the Parramatta Light Rail 2A project, delivering robust contract management and value-for-money outcomes.

You will develop and embed frameworks, manage procurements, and guide governance across the portfolio, reporting to the Director Commercial & Controls. Flexible work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management within large infrastructure or public sector projects.
• Strong governance, risk and contract management knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and risk performance on major projects and ensure value-for-money outcomes.
• Develop and embed a Commercial Management Framework for contract administration and reporting.
• Oversee contract strategy, negotiations, variations, claims and governance across the portfolio.
• Provide strategic advice on disputes, insurance, fraud and corruption and support issue resolution.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster high performance.
