Job summary

Omni seeks a Commercial Manager to join our Canberra team on a full-time, short fixed-term contract (initial 3-6 months) with potential to transition to permanent employment. Qualifications

• Be an Australian citizen.
• Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one.
• Five years’ experience in a complex contract or program.
• Strong understanding of contractual obligations, performance monitoring and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contract variations and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract creation, execution and analysis, ensuring obligations are met and KPIs are tracked.
• Identify commercial, financial and operational risks andRecommend actions to improve outcomes.
• Monitor contract performance, challenge underperformance and implement corrective actions.
• Address compliance failures, apply contract terms and support remediation of breaches.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual changes, negotiate variations and obtain authorisations.
• Collaborate with internal and external experts to support effective contract management and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and implement change management protocols to improve efficiency and contract performance.
