Job summary

Vinova is seeking a Head of Commercial to own and shape the commercial function across a portfolio of major infrastructure projects in Australia. You will influence strategy, governance and performance, while leading a seasoned team of Commercial Managers and Contract Administrators.

Reporting to a senior Finance & Commercial executive, you will work closely with Project Directors, Delivery, Finance, Legal and Procurement, ensuring strong cost control, risk management and value delivery

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in large infrastructure or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, risk, claims and dispute resolution.
• Proven track record leading and developing commercial teams.
• Excellent financial and commercial acumen across project cost, margin and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Set the commercial strategy and governance across a portfolio of major projects.
• Lead major contract negotiations, claims, disputes, variations and commercial risk.
• Own commercial performance, cost control, forecasting, margin and risk reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop a multi-level commercial team across delivery offices.
