Job summary

Enerven Energy Infrastructure Pty is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead the commercial function across its project portfolio, drive value, manage risk and support successful outcomes.

You will report to the General Manager Finance & Commercial and lead Commercial Managers and Contract Administrators, partnering with executive leaders, project directors, finance, legal and operations across the business. This is a senior leadership role with significant influence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
• Significant commercial leadership experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, construction or major projects.
• Proven ability to lead and develop commercial teams.
• Strong expertise in contract negotiation, administration and governance.
• Experience managing commercial risk, claims and dispute resolution processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function across Enerven's project portfolio.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to Executive Leadership, Project Directors and Delivery teams.
• Oversee contract negotiation, administration and governance across major projects.
• Drive commercial strategy, risk management and value creation initiatives.
• Lead claims, dispute resolution and contract performance activities.
• Develop and mentor a team of Commercial Managers and Contract Administrators.
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, legal advisors and key stakeholders.
• Support major bid submissions, procurement activities and commercial negotiations.
