Job summary

InvoCare Rhodes NSW is seeking a Collections Officer to join our Finance team in a permanent role. You will own an Accounts Receivable portfolio, drive collections, reconcile accounts, and liaise with multiple divisions to maintain healthy cash flow.

The role requires 5+ years in collections, AR, or credit control, and strong Excel/ERP skills with a focus on ACCC guidelines and customer service excellence. This on-site position offers a collaborative work environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Collections, Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
• Familiar with debt collection processes and AR reconciliations
• Proficient in payment allocations and generating statements/invoices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive conversations
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Knowledge of ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outstanding accounts and achieve collection targets
• Follow up overdue accounts through proactive communication and resolution of payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments
• Generate statements and invoices
• Handle customer queries and service tickets
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across divisions
• Maintain accurate collection records and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement within Accounts Receivable
