Job summary

Active Recruitment is seeking an experienced Credit Controller/Administrator for a Wetherill Park contract role. The position involves accounts receivable, debt collection and processing transactions with a focus on customer communications and timely follow-ups.

The role requires experience in AR, collections and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365. Training will be provided for internal systems, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, debt recovery or a similar finance administration role.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with customers.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage potentially difficult conversations regarding outstanding payments.
• Experience processing financial transactions, payments, journals or similar administrative tasks.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar finance and accounting systems will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone to follow up outstanding payments and assist with the collection of overdue accounts.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
• Support the accounts receivable function, ensuring payments and transactions are followed up in a timely manner.
• Assist with transferring payment records and approvals from previous system into the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Process financial transactions and journals as required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure transactions are processed correctly.
• Work closely with the existing team to resolve payment queries and ensure outstanding items are progressed.
• Follow established processes and procedures to support the smooth running of the accounts receivable function.
